Self-Compassion Challenge

The Dr. Joti Samra, R. Psych. & Associates team is pleased to bring you our self-compassion challenge. Self-compassion is something many of us struggle with but thankfully, given time, it’s a skill we can practice and improve upon. 

These challenge emails come to your inbox every morning, with each day focusing on a task to teach you about self-compassion and challenge you to both reflect on your current view of yourself and make positive changes. Our goal is that by the end of the challenge you've learned some strategies to improve your psychological health and resilience.   

Our challenges focus on enhancing your psychological health and resilience by introducing you to evidence-based practices - such as mindfulness, gratitude, and CBT. 

We believe telling you what to do isn't enough - you should also know the "why". So, with every challenge, we include the rationale behind the activity. We also encourage you to reflect on each task so you can take what you've learned forward in your life.
